Minister of State visits advice centre in Oldbury
Lord Hunt thanks advice centre staff for support with Boiler Scrappage Scheme
Lord Hunt of Kings Heath visited our Energy Saving Trust advice centre in Oldbury on 8th January 2010 to witness at first hand how our advice staff handled the huge increase in enquiries that followed the announcement of the Government's Boiler Scrappage Scheme. After the visit, Lord Hunt said:
 | "I wanted to thank you all for your hard work and dedication in answering calls and processing requests for the Government's Boiler Scrappage Scheme. I understand that you've taken over 75,000 calls since the scheme was announced, which is a fantastic achievement, especially considering the weather conditions. I am really impressed with the team at Oldbury West Midlands Regional Centre and think that everyone has worked above and beyond the call of duty to guide customers. This high level of work is being replicated around the country. |
