SHOPAR (Sustainable Housing Partnership)
We would like to make SHOPAR as relevant as possible to its members and would appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to fill out this survey by Friday, 6th August. Thank you.
The Sustainable Housing Partnership (SHOPAR) is a forum for housing professionals from across the West and East Midlands regions. It was launched in the West Midlands in January 2004 and is now a well established regional network. It was launched in the East Midlands in May 2009.
SHOPAR works with over 200 housing professionals, including members from 32 local authorities and 26 housing associations and other agencies such as the Regional Assembly, Advantage West Midlands, the Centre for Urban and Regional Studies (CURS) and Birmingham Sustainable Energy Partnership (BSEP).
Through regular meetings and newsletters, SHOPAR aims to provide support, evidence and examples of housing best practice to help members provide low carbon, affordable and sustainable homes to residents and tenants in the social and private sectors.
A copy of the SHOPAR Members Agreement for 2009-2010 is available to view here.
If you would like more information on SHOPAR or are interested in your organisation becoming a member, please contact Deborah Gabbay via phone on 0121 543 2915 or via e-mail.
