Hestia recently installed a 50kWp PV system on behalf of Mr G at his chicken farm in Shropshire. He was very keen to put in place monitoring equipment to track the output from his PV system to ensure that he was maximising the return on investment; however, there was no internet connection at the farm. Hestia provided an innovative solution using SMA monitoring kit and a GSM connection, which sends information to the SMA server via SMS text messaging and displays the data on the internet .
